Using MotionView 2024

Question

I can't get all the available toolbars in MotionView. Reading manuals leads to looing for stuff that is just not there. Uninstalling and reinstalling does not solve it. When I use "View" to look for toolbars, they are missing and my work is stuck. Is it because we have 22 units or something else?

Hi @Deo,

Analyze and Model can easily be found in the ribbon:

General Actions is I can only see referenced in this 2019 tutorial using the retired interface:

Plotting is not done in MotionView, but in HyperGraph, which that above Plot button also launches.

Where are you seeing these toolbars, in some form of Help Documentation or Tutorial?

Hi @Deo ,

Going off of @GTT Adam comments. Have you tried running the cleanup batch file? It can be located in your installation directory. For example: C:\Program Files\Altair\2026\hwdesktop\utility\HWCleanup

Please close all Hypermesh applications before running the batch file. Once it has completed, open up a new session and see if the toolbars have appeared. If you could also provide a screenshot of your session that would be appreciated.
