I am working with a Flux 2D model that I want to export to the e-Machine Tool.
The issue is that one laminated rotor region contains local subregions with a different material assignment, so the laminated region is not uniform.
e-Machine Tool seems to require a uniform material in laminated regions for iron-loss computation, and the export fails in this case.
Is there any known workaround to handle this? For example:
- importing/exporting a laminated region with non-uniform material assignment,
- defining local subregions in a different way,
- using an equivalent setup that is still accepted by e-Machine Tool,
- or any recommended best practice for this kind of model?
In my case, the non-uniformity is local and intentional, since I want to represent a modified rotor bridge region.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
