FEKO - Request for Guidance on Extracting Phase Values

Dear Support,

When we run a POSTFEKO analysis we can view several electric-field quantities and gain values. These results are readily available in the .ffe file.

However, I would also like to retrieve the phase information, in particular the Phase (Elevation) component. Could you please advise how I can extract and use these phase values?

I don't know what you mean by "retrieve the phase information." But I think you want to understand the meaning of the phase in the far-field data.

Actually, the data in the far-field file are relative values, because we don't define the exact distance of the far-field observation points. (, but only x, y or theta, phi).

If you want to know the exact phase values, you need to use a near-field request where you define the exact observation points (x, y, z or R, theta, phi). The phase values in the near-field requestion are the phase difference between the observation point and the source point.
