I am currently using Multiscale Designer (MDS) v2025.1 and have a question regarding the unit convention for strain inputs.
In the nonlinear material parameter input fields (e.g., "Tensile strain at ultimate stress", "Compression strain at ultimate stress"), I would like to confirm whether the expected input values are:
(a) Dimensionless decimal (mm/mm), e.g., 0.0035 for 0.35% strain, or
(b) Percentage (%), e.g., 0.35 for 0.35% strain
The reason I ask is that the X-axis label in the Axial Stress vs. Strain chart within the Matrix material definition panel displays "Strain [%]", while the numerical values on the same axis appear to be plotted as decimals (e.g., 0 to 0.02). This inconsistency makes it unclear whether the axis label is simply mislabeled, or whether the input fields actually expect percentage values.
