Hello,
I want to use the Continuum analysis tool to visualise the particle velocities. I noticed that the Continuum Analysis delivers significantly different results than Subsection Sensors. The Sensors are in the same position as the plane. After adjusting the R-avg value the results have become more similar. But particularly in the peripheral area the values of the Continuum Analysis continue to deviate significantly.
To keep things simple, I did not adjust the plane exactly to the geometry, which means that the square plane protrudes beyond the approximately cylindrical geometry of the system.
Am I correct in understanding that in this case there is also error propagation due to the Gaussian weighting function? Is there a way to exclude values=0 from the calculation of the Gaussian weighting function?
Do network density and the R-avg value influence this behaviour?
Perhaps someone else is facing the same challenge.
Thank you very much for your help.
