Hi everyone,
I am having a persistent issue while trying to install Altair Inspire 2026 (Personal Edition) on Windows 11 (64-bit). The installer reaches 100% extraction but then fails to launch the UI.
My System Specs:
- OS: Windows 11 Home/Pro (Version 22H2/23H2).
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU + Intel Integrated Graphics.
- RAM: 16GB.
Steps I have already taken without success:
- Manually deleted all files from the
%TEMP% folder and cleared previous installation attempts to ensure no "ghost" files were interfering. - Re-downloaded the installer multiple times using different browsers to rule out a corrupted download.
- Updated GPU drivers to the latest version (including testing with NVIDIA Studio Drivers).
- Cleared all Java-related entries from the System Environment Variables (PATH).
- Uninstalled any external Java/JRE/JDK versions to avoid conflicts.
- Attempted to disable the integrated Intel GPU in Device Manager.
- Tried manual extraction with 7-Zip, but it results in the "Missing properties file" error.
- Attempted console installation using the
-i console flag, but the window closes immediately.
It seems like a specific conflict between the LaunchAnywhere engine, Java, and my hybrid GPU setup (Optimus).
Does anyone know a workaround or a specific command to force the installer to use its internal JRE correctly?
Thank you in advance for your help!
