How can we control the break angle for 2D surface mesh selection in Create Groove Weld?

While creating a groove weld between two parts, the root edge and toe side 1 are selected correctly. However, when selecting toe side 2, the tool also picks faces outside the groove.

Is there a way to limit the selection using break angle or another setting to restrict it only to the groove faces?

Hello,

It seems the problems is that you have one face for the rest. You need to create an edge, to split the surface. You have multiple options to do this. One this is called break faces or chain edge, for example. Hope this helps.
