The only inductances you can put in are Lq1, Ld1, Lq2, Ld2. Is 0 Md and Mq assumed?
I am using PSIM 2025.1
Dear @frahman,
The 6-ph PMSM (30 deg) considers two 3-phase windings, which are spatially shifted by 30°. The user can define Ld1,Ld2 and Lq1,Lq2 separately so the two windings are not considered identical in this case. The coupling between the two winding sets is fixed and constant. The mutual inductances are influenced by the fixed coupling ratios and Ld,Lq choices for the d and q axis. The relationship is determined by the following equations:
Since the two sets of windings are spatially shifted by 30°, the coupling factor between them is constant at 0.866 in PSIM.
Thus, the mutual inductances are defined as:
Hope this helps! Best regards, Nikos Dimitrakopoulos
