Non-linear static analysis run parameters

Hello,

I'm new in non-linear static analysis. I've created a model in Hypermesh with Large Displacements enabled. When it is running using Altair's Compute Console and Optistruct solver, several parameters appear in the Solver View. I did not find any information about what do they mean. They are: Non1_EUI_st, Err_EPI_st, Meas_EWI_st and GapClose_st. I would also like to know what does the numbers below the Iteration and Grid/Elem ID mean.

Hello,

Try to open *.out file in notepad, for better visualization of the data and active solution monitoring.

These quantities are printed each iteration so you can evaluate nonlinear convergence behavior, especially for contact‑dominated problems.

EUI , EWI , EPI (keywords)
