How to use LTspice (.lib) models in PSIM.
For example I want to use an Allegro current sensor ACS772 (.lib) model, then how can I use it in PSIM?
Dear User, When you have a schematic with SPICE-supported blocks you can solve it with 3 different solver options:
To check whether all elements are supported you can navigate to View » Check Elements » Show only elements not supported by SPICE simulation:
Eg. motor models are not supported as LTspice doesn't have any motor models.
That said, you can solve a schematic with either spice or psim. Mixed simulations are not supported! Which in turn means that if you include a spice block, like SPICE Directive or SPICE Subcircuit Netlist Block, then the schematic will not solve with PSIM solver.
By the way, to add your SPICE models you can use the blocks above but the model needs to be unencrypted. For more information please follow these resources: 1. Understanding how PSIM links with SPICE and what you can and cannot do with the link
