S-Frame Moment Z

I have analysed a simply supported truss in S-Frame, and in the reactions for the truss, I keep getting a very high value for Moment Z in the table of values. There is no sign of the moment in my graphical display of the reactions

I am confident I have modelled the truss correctly, as the other results are what I would expect, so perhaps I am misunderstanding what the Moment Z stands for?

Thanks for getting in touch. First, I want to clarify that in general terms, the Moment Z result you are observing is perhaps best thought of as weak axis bending, in a wide-flange shape. I use general terms, as we do not have any details on your model to provide more specific examples.

You mentioned that you were using truss elements, perhaps I have misinterpreted, but was your expectation that there would be zero moment in these elements? Did you use the 'Truss' member type (assigned via the 'Member Type Tool')?
