I'm working on a steady-state thermal analysis using HyperMesh with the OptiStruct solver and I'm having a trouble post-processing the convective heat transfer from a specific surface.
My goal is to obtain the convective heat flux on a surface ( W/m^2) and then integrate it over the surface area to obtain the total heat leaving that surface in Watts.
My model has only a heat flux on a surface and some faces that are applied convection on them, model seems to solve correctly and temperature contours look reasonable.
Im asking for a solution / an advice on how to obtain convective heat flux output on a specific surface, on any point(solver or post-process). I would really appreciate your guidance.
