Saturable Core formula

What is the formula used to generate B-H loops for the Saturable Core inductor and the B-H loop calculator? I have B-H loop data saved in MATLAB and would like to update my scripts to generate K1, Kexp1, K2, and Kexp2 coefficients for use in PSIM. The documentation provides a good way to come up with coefficients from a visual plot, but since I have the data I would like to curve fit to the formula being used.

Dear @AaronP,

Unfortunately, the formulas used in the BH Curve Utility cannot be shared, as they are proprietary.

That said, we are currently developing a new utility regarding this exact topic. This utility will load material BH curve data from a .csv file and automatically fit the PSIM coefficients. You will be able to use this functionality in the next release, PSIM v2026.1.
