Hyperstudy: How to modify an excel file that is used as a model without redoing all the definition

Hello, I am using an Excel as a model in hyperstudy, then I define the variable bounds in hyperstudy or output response goals etc.. Then I would like to modify the excel (for example some value inside that are used) but without redefining after all the model again in hyperstudy. It seems like that once I have defined the model, it creates a copy of the original Excel, and then I cannot modify it.

So for now, everytime i modify the excel source, I have to redo everytime the whole model definition…

How to do?

Hi @Frederic_Ely25,

If the resource file has changed, then, one has to re-do the 'Definition' step again. This is common for every type of resource file being used in HyperStudy.

• Definition step includes : Define Models, Define Input Variables, Test Models & Define Output Responses.

With latest HyperStudy versions, one can have multiple input resource files (with 'Definition' step performed individually for each) & design exploration results for each different resource in one HyperStudy session.
