I am currently looking to perform a sequential load case analysis on the structure using the Linear Static analysis step type. In the first load step, I need to apply a forced displacement of 1 mm along the central axis to the outer ring nodes. For the second load step, building upon the first step, I will fix the outer ring nodes and apply a concentrated force load to the central coupled node. How can this analysis be implemented?
I am aware that the "Fixed" constraint in the Constraints panel can achieve the desired effect for Non-Linear Static load steps; however, when using the Linear Static type, the following error is encountered:
