How to create Heat Flux on Optistruct

Hi, I am new to using HYPERMESH. I am trying to create heat generation and a heat sink on a meshed midsurface. For that, I have created elements. However, when I select Flux or Convection, it asks for an ELSET. I have tried several methods to create an ELSET but haven’t been able to find one. If I select some elements and click Create, it generates a SET_ELEM, which is not the same as an ELSET. How can I solve this issue?

Hi Fuzsha,

I hope you are selecting the below option for Heat Flux.

After selecting this, you can select elements to create ELSET by either selecting SURF/ELIST as card image. Aee the below images. After creating the set you can also change the card image to SURF or ELIST.
