Unable to renew my Student License

When I try to renew my license, it asks for the activation key. However, rather than in the form of a long paragraph, my key shows in the format of YYYYY-YYYYY-YYYYY-YYYYY. I'm on MAC, and the step "In your File Explorer, navigate to the installation folder of your installed Altair Software (e.g., System (C:) > Program Files > Altair > 2025 > security > bin > win64 > GUI)" is impossible to complete, as those files and folders seem not to exist at all on my laptop. How do I solve this problem? I've followed every guide and every previous discussion but nothing worked

Your Student Edition license key does not require renewal as it was issued on 2025-10-02 and will stay valid for one year. The key format you are seeing is correct.

You should be able to see your license key by logging into Altair One, going to the Marketplace, checking the Student Edition License bundle, clicking on the Student Edition License card, and then checking the Licensing tab. I followed the video, but when I get to the part where downloading inspire is required, there's no version available for Mac, only windows and linux. How do I proceed on Mac?

Altair Inspire is supported in Windows and Linux.

If MAC is the only available machine, we suggest you install windows in parallel using boot camp, and use the windows version of the software. Apple support has all the details on this, https://www.apple.com/in/support/bootcamp/ When you run it in windows you may need a new license file for the windows ID.

If you're unable to install Bootcamp on your macOS, I would recommend gaining access to a system with a Windows OS.
