Hi,
I have to do the thermal analysis on Exhaust Manifold , for that I downloaded a complete model from the internet. After I 3D meshed my main component it seperated to 2 components ( Exhaust Manifold_Body_0(main component), ^tmp_2d_for_tetra) and also when I run the analysis I got this message ' No elements found in the input data.' and also 'MGBLIMIT' error . Then I tried to do 2D mesh then I got an error called ERROR:14 missing property. I want to do 3D mesh How could I resolve these problems.
Thanks!
Hello,
Both of the models you shared contain shell elements only, not solid.
The correct property card for shell elements is PSHELL not PSOLID.
Thank you fo the reply. But In order to do the trasient thermal analysis. Don't we have to use PSOLID of the 3D model and my second question is when I did the 3D mesh why i get 2 components.
