Hi,
I have to analyse a Al sandwich composite deck of 700mm*700mm. For this,
1. I modeled deck with shell elements and assigned PCOMPG property with 3 plies 2mm Al face sheet + 60mm Honeycomb Core + 2mm Al face sheet.
2. Observed modal Frequency with BC at center of plate is around 600Hz.
3. Later i have to mount a components on top, so chosen to model with solid elements and assign PCOMPLS Property for same config
4 For later solid model config ,Modal Frequency observed at 400Hz(same as shell element config no other components mounted).
5. I would like to understand whether I'm missing any input or any card assign over here.
Almost 200Hz of frequency is observed, thoroughly checked BC and mat properties .
Need help to proceed further.
