Hello everyone,I'm working with Multiscale Designer 2022 to calibrate the matrix material parameters of a short fiber injection-molded material. I have the uniaxial stress-strain data for this material at two specific temperatures: room temperature and a high temperature. However, I'm confused about the temperature parameter setup during the calibration process and would really appreciate your insights:
- First, I can’t find where to input the actual test temperatures (i.e., the specific values of my room temperature and high temperature). Is there a dedicated field for entering these two temperatures? And if so, should the "delta temperature" field then be filled with the temperature difference between the high temperature and room temperature?
- Given that I have stress-strain data at two temperatures (room and high), which constitutive model would be most suitable for calibrating the matrix of this short fiber injection-molded material? Is Rate Dependent Plasticity (RD) suitable?
I’m relatively new to this software. Any guidance or shared experiences from those who have done similar work would be incredibly helpful. Thank you in advance for your time!
