Im doing a Shape optimization which search the optimum height of my designspace to reach the min weighted Frequency of 3 modes of my Part.
The optimization runs more than 30 iterations if I set the objective to maximize Frequency but it runs only 2 iterations if I set it to minimize the weighted Frequency.
The reason why it stops is that OptiStruct doesnt Change the height / volume of the Designspace in the second case:
with Frequency:
1. Iteration: 8,57152E+05
2. Iteration: 8,38065E+05
3. Iteration: 8,18978E+05
4. Iteration: 7.99891E+05
…
with weighted Frequency:
1. Iteration: 8.18978E+05
2. Iteration: 8.18978E+05
Ist the same Model with the same Setup. Why it doesnt work?
