Hello, I have been able to run a sine sweep on random fatigue analysis. This includes creating a FATEVNT where a random load case is combined with a frequency response subcase.
Now I have created an additional frequency response subcase, where I define a new sinusoidal sweeping load.
I have then modified my FATEVNT card by including three load cases (the first one being the random, the 2nd and 3rd ones being the sine sweeps).
When running the simulation I get the following fatal error message:
" Fatigue subcase 104 references subcases of different types: SUBCASE 3 SUBCASE 1"
This is odd, as both sine-on-random and sine sweep-on-random simulation require to combine subcases of different types (random and sine), and Optistruct 2025.1 completes successfully both.
The issue arises when I try to include an additional sine sweep.
Am I doing something wrong? Or, multiple sine sweeps are not supported in a sine sweep on random simulation in the current version of Optistruct?
Thank you!
