i want to simulate the power required for my vehicle during acceleration

i am a complete beginner to altair, i came here to simulate the required power of my vehicle during acceleration and the increase in power during turns. I want to know whether i can simulate this. If yes, i want to know which software should i use and a guide on how to use.

This type of simulation can be accomplished in many ways depending on the specific area of focus. My suggestion would be to use MotionView to easily model a vehicle assembly with options such as single or dual electric motors, MacPherson suspension, etc. using the Assembly Wizard. You can then drag and drop predefined events into your model such as Straight Line Acceleration and Constant Radius to take advantage of these scripted maneuvers and the built-in Altair Driver Model. Finally, you can then use the Standard Reports tool to automatically post-process the results and calculate maximum torque values.

Altair offers an introductory course, MotionView/MotionSolve Introduction eLearning, for solving multi-body dynamics (MBD) problems using HyperWorks and illustrates constructing, solving and post-processing MBD problems. This course focuses on general Multibody mechanisms and is a starting point for learning modeling in MotionSolve.
