How to check the E-field value for calculating power handling capability of my antenna?[V 2023.1]

I want to check the power handling capability of my conformal array antenna; for that, I created the near-field surface from the top of the patches to the cylindrical

ground plane. I want to check the electric field value at the top of the patch surface, the dielectric layer, and the ground plane, because these three regions have different breakdown voltages. In FEKO, the 3D bar plot of E-field value is not trustworthy it shows different values each time for the array. How can I see the Electric field value in FEKO for these three layers of the array antenna? [The array antenna is attached here.] Kindly help me out.

Hello,

As you know, electric fields on the metallic surface are zero (cannot be calculated), and for the breakdown voltage simulation, I think electric scalar potential might be a better quantity.

To define electric scalar potential, please add a near-field request along a line (Green line) between the patch and the ground plane as shown below. (Of course, you can add many lines at the different points.). Note: Please uncheck "Sample on edge"…

And if you go to Advanced tab in the near-field request, you can change "Fields" to "Potentials" and select "Electric scalar potential".
