Dear experts,
I would like to raise a question regarding Acusolve-EDEM coupling. As we know, the volume filtering method is employed to handle the fluid-particle interaction calculations during coupled simulations. However, if I want to simulate variable-density fluids (such as reactive flows, saline flows, etc.), has the volume filtering algorithm been properly incorporated into the scalar transport equations?
Additionally, assuming that volume filtering has not been implemented in the scalar transport equations, would this mean that when simulating the interaction between variable-density fluids and particles, the fluid mesh size must be larger than three times the particle size?
Thank you for your insights.
