Using the Collision Metrics API in EDEM to calculate the energy loss from particle collisions

Hello, every experts, when I was using the Collision Metrics API to calculate energy loss, I encountered some problems:

1. I wanted to obtain the curve of particle collision energy loss over time. However, after using the latest version of the CollisionMetrics API to calculate the particle collision energy loss, the result in post-processing was zero; while using the previous version of the EnergyLoss API for calculation, the result in post-processing seemed more correct. We have attached the officially released CollisionMetrics API and EnergyLoss API below; at the same time, fig.1 is a screenshot of the calculation result using the CollisionMetrics API, and fig.2 is a screenshot of the calculation result using the EnergyLoss API. 2. We also wish to understand the meanings of "Frequency" and "counts" in the Frequency Spectra (as shown in the following figure). Do they represent the frequency and number of particle collisions? How are they calculated?

Just to note the energy loss calculation is now built into EDEM, so you can use this version in 2025.1:

There is also an updated version of the energy loss AP{I to include more collision metrics, however if you want energy loss the best option to use is the in-built model.
