How to regenerate license file

Earlier this summer I successfully activated a student license so that I could use Altair Inspire. I used it for a few months, then did not use it for a month or so, and am trying to use it again now. When I launch Altair Inspire 2025, I am greeted with the License Setup popup. When I correctly input my Altair One username and password, the popup does not go away. Additionally, I can not find my license file. I can find my license activation codee but not the .dat file which could be used to start using Altair Inspire again. I tried deactivating then reactivating my student license using Altair License Utility but then is an error with reading the license. I am not sure what has changed, how to find or regenerate my license file, or otherwise sign in to Altair Inspire 2025 again.

Your license key has been deactivated in Altair One, and you can now reactivate your student license using the same key.

Kindly note, The Altair Free Student Edition license is valid for use on only one device, it cannot be shared or activated on multiple machines at the same time AND Deactivation and reactivation feature is only if a computer breaks down or reformatted and is only allowed a few times per user preprogrammed into the system.

You can deactivate the license from one machine and reactivate in another by yourself if you have access to both machines as per –

You should be able to see your license key by logging into Altair One, going to the Marketplace, checking the Student Edition License bundle, clicking on the Student Edition License card, and then checking the Licensing tab.
