According to the help documentation for version 2025.1, the CNTF output request is now available for frequency response analysis (I assume this applies to both direct and modal approaches).
I am trying to use this feature to evaluate the contact forces between two parts in a modal frequency response analysis. My setup applies a g load to some nodes using the SPCd, and I want to determine the resulting forces at the contact surfaces. In principle, these should be of the same order of magnitude as the weight of the part, since its only boundary condition is the connection to the other body.
However, when I extract the results using the CNTF card, the values appear to be much lower than expected (close to zero). Do you have any idea what might be causing this?
