Hello,
I am supporting a customer to model one of our products in Optistruct. I don't have a valid license and created the model only based on the OptiStruct manual. The customer reported a problems to do that. Would it be possible for somebody to import the attached models (two diferent versions) in the software to check if the syntax is correct? Many, many thanks for your kind support.
You are correct, You should have unique ids for DMGINI and DMGEVO.
Hi, I just checked the input files shared by you. the definition of the damage cards looks ok.
As those are not the complete .fem file, I could not run.
Let us know what issue your customer is facing.
Attaching a reference file for you.
Many thanks, for taking a look so quickly @Rajashri_Saha. It is much appreciated. My understanding was that MCOHED_Version1.fem should be okay while MCOHED_Version2.fem should be problematic as the same ID for DMGINI and DMGEVO is used. Actually, I am not intending to run a simulation. I am just interested in a confirmation that MCOHED_Version1.fem can be correctly imported in Optistruct and could be used with a full model. Are the commas and blanks for example okay in my card? Many thanks for your kind help.
