Hello RapidMiner community - please help.
I’m trying to install RapidMiner 2025.1.1 (mac x64) on my Mac but the app never opens. Below are the exact details and steps I followed.
System info
- macOS: 10.15.7 (Catalina)
- Machine: MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012)
- CPU: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
- RAM: 16 GB (1600 MHz)
- RapidMiner build downloaded: 2025.1.1 (mac x64)
What I did
- Downloaded the mac x64 .dmg.
- Dragged the RapidMiner app (appears as AI Studio / RapidMiner Studio) into Applications.
- Double-clicked the app in Applications. macOS shows the Gatekeeper popup:
“AI Studio is an app downloaded from the internet. Are you sure you want to open it?” - I click Open. A small popup icon appears when I click Open, then disappears. Nothing else happens - the app does not open or show an error.
- If I try to open it again, the same popup repeats and the same behavior happens. No window, no crash dialog, no error.
Can anyone help me - what could be the solution? If anyone can guide me how to fix this, it would be very helpful.
