Locating Specific Options in HyperMesh 2025

Dear Team,

I have worked with Altair HyperMesh 2022.3 and would appreciate your guidance on locating and using some specific functionalities within the software. Could you please help me identify where to find the following options in Hypermesh 2025?

Free 1D Node - RBE2 to get unequivalenced node
By using the model check, it shows all the free nodes in the model, but I need an unequivalenced node (dependent free node).

In the old version, by using Free 1-d nodes option : it's easy to get the free 1D node from the model.

I tried with Equivalence option by changing the tolerance to get the free node, but it didn't work.

2. Auto Property
Where can I find the feature Auto Property to assign properties to all component?

3. Duplicate Surface - Issue with Isolate Surface
I am able to find the duplicate surfaces; however, I am unable to isolate the duplicate surface. It directly deletes the duplicate surface. Could you guide me to isolate the duplicate surface?

4. Attach/Detach Set - for creating sets for dependent nodes
Please advise me on where is option, attach/detach sets to create sets.

Hi,

1- You could get the free 1D node from the model in 2025.1 version with Show in Browser.

2- By making these selections, you can assign the property to all the components you have selected.

3- Duplicate surfaces cannot be isolated directly, but they can be review as you mentioned and corrected using the surface repair tool.

4- After selecting rigid elements, you can do this by following the steps below in the entity editor.

For Free 1D element node, there is only Show in Version 2025. Can you please tell me how to isolate the Free 1D element node (as mentioned before) in version 2025

4. After using the review option for the dependent nodes, it creates an element set. I need a node set for the dependent nodes (like in the previous version).

4. You need to follow pictures of #4. you must be selected nodes not element.
