Data Prep - Excel Worksheet Design - Append last nine characters of a long line and append

I have a worksheet with transactions neatly organized. But the first four lines of the sheet have information which is not deemed needed except for the account number which is the last nine characters of cell A2. How can I extract/append that number to the last column of the sheet?

This could be tricky because

#1) it sounds like you are trying to write to your input file.

#2) DPS generally assumes that every row of a spreadsheet contains columns of the same data. Perhaps the same rule could be applied to all values in that column in a way that would work.

If you would like to attach your xlsx file (or else a made-up xlsx file which demonstrates the issue), I would be happy to take a look.

Please also include any workspace (dpwx) files that you have been working with, and please provide the DPS Version number you are using.
