OptiStruct | * ERROR # 1485 * in the input data: Field 9 contains unrecognized/unexpected label.

Hello,

For Altair OptiStruct I am getting mentioned error.

Please find attached image of the .fem file and .out file. I am getting error as:
"*** ERROR # 1485 *** in the input data:
Field 9 contains unrecognized/unexpected label."

I checked the documentation also, but I don't see any error. Interesting thing is I solved the same model for other load cases also.

Kindly guide how shall I proceed.

Hello,

Probably these lines exceed the 80 character limit per line. From the bulk data guidelines point 1:

Data may contain 80 characters per line at most. All characters after the 80th are ignored. For free format you can edit this maximum allowable with SYSSETTING,CARDLENGTH.

The model is solved by incorporating below card in model.

SYSSETTING(CARDLENGTH=132)

By default card length in OptiStruct deck is 80 characters.
I increased it to 132 and it worked.
