As input i have given the 84G for 20ms in sine wave form but while plotting the graph of response i am getting huge acceleration why it is coming like this am i doing anything wrong here while plotting
are you running OptiStruct? Are you using mm ? If yes, the results are in mm/s2, so 84G ~8.2e5 mm/s2, right? your plot is showing magnitude, so only positive values..
I am running in Optistruct and using mm. i understood that 8.2e5 mm/s2 is 84G but the response i am getting is very huge practically i should not get that much. I Checked the model everything is proper there's no issues in the model. is this values are absolute or relative. if it is absolute how to convert to relative acceleration values?
if you input 84G ~8.2e5mm/s2 why do you think it is too much to get an acceleration response of about the same 84G and 8.2e5mm/s2?
in HG you could just perform a scaling on your 'y' axis, an scale by (1.0/9810) to get G's.
