Is there a fast way to create lines in HM 2023.1

Hello Everyone,

It may be a simple question:

I'm looking for an efficient method to create a line in HyperWorks 2023.1. Specifically, I need to generate a line that originates from a designated starting node and extends for a specified length, with its direction defined by two other existing nodes.

For example, consider a scenario where two parts are connected by a CBUSH element. I want to create a line starting from a node (Node A) on the lower part, and have its orientation match the direction of the CBUSH element (defined by Node B and Node C).

Is there a quick way to achieve this?

I recall a simple tool for this in the old GUI, but I'm struggling to find its equivalent in the current version. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Ludwig,

You may use the drag node tool, with the Plane/vector tool for direction definition.
