Does the model crash when it is exporting or does the geometry export take a very long time?
The reason can be due to geometry. Since geometry has a contact entity and the overall volume is very large, it needs to be meshed by Motionsolve before the analysis can begin. As you have experienced, this can take a very long time.
A couple of suggestions on reducing the export time.
You could instead disregard the contact and use a CVCV Joint. This would decrease the time it takes the model to be exported to the solver.
Export it as a Parasolid. You can either replace the graphic entity with the Parasolid. Or you can convert the Parasolid to an H3D file (using the Import Geometry or FEM using Hypermesh Tool) using that will mesh the part.
