I'm facing an issue with Motor Factory in Altair Flux Motor. I am trying to configure a 6-phase (2x3), 12-slot machine with concentrated windings (which I’ve already designed and verified experimentally and in simulation), but Motor Factory does not allow me to proceed beyond a certain point. As soon as I select this configuration, I receive the following error:
The sections [1(Right),2(Left),3(Right),4(Left),5(Right),6(Left),7(Right),8(Left),9(Right),10(Left),11(Right),12(Left)] cannot have more than one bundle.
Failed to update the motor structural data.
Ticket Number: #100.13.198 #100.13.320
The winding is custom but currently the software doesn't let me continue to the winding section (so I may change it accordingly) it changes it back to 7 phase 14 slots (last working point). Is there any work around where the winding configuration can be changed?
Hi,
For the moment in FluxMotor we can use for the n phase machine a n wich is different of k*3 phases so we can not manage machine with 2*3 phases. this capability will come later.
So for the moment you can define a three phase machine with two pararllel path for example, export the machine in Flux and modified the winding in Flux.
I hope this helps.
Best regards.
Cyril
