EDEM Failed reading file exported by Hypermesh CFD- Failed to read new data
Description: [Hi, I've been trying solving the Acusolve-EDEM tutorial "ACU-T: 6100 Particle Separation in a Windshifter using Altair EDEM" but when I try opening with EDEM the .dem file previously exported by Hypermesh CFD, I've got the following errors and I'm not able to open it:
-Could not read file directory/0.h5.H5Dopen2 failed - object "bounding box" doesn't exist.
-Failed to read new data (Reason: Could not read creator data)
-Failed to read new data (Reason: Could not read timestep data)
How could I deal with this?

Can you please try by moving .dfg or .ess file to another folder and try launching the EDEM.
Also, if there is any other .h5 apart from 0.h5 in the folder please delete it and try launching EDEM file.

Altair EmployeeDo you see any different behavior if you remove the spaces from directory names? I always suggest to use underscore instead of space as word separators. And if there are dots/periods in the file/project name, try removing those, too.

Hi @acupro , you were completely right, I've just removed the spaces from the directory name where I exported the geometry files and now there is not any issue when importing the file. Thank you!
