I have a simple cantilever C-Beam with a 1-D 16-element mesh, meaning there are only 17 nodes. At node 1, I have defined a constraint in all DOFs, expecting that to be a cantilever condition. At each node, I have added a force vector and have a force step defined to do a strain relief and a modal analysis.
I run the model validator, and there are no errors.
But when I do Analyze→Run, the output file (attached) it is as if the end of the beam is not set up the way Hypermesh expects and it has used SPC to constrain the end of the beam. After the analysis (which successfully runs) the beam does not have the expected behavior of a cantilever beam under a load. Can anyone help identify what I might have missed that causes statements like this?
The *.out file has statements like this:

Grid No. 17 is the grid that has the end Element, but when I check it, the CBEAM element has Node 17 listed as its GB
