Hello everyone, In my calculations using Bertotti approach(for an induction motor), I obtained an iron loss of 7 watts and multiplied this by four, considering that the motor is a 4-pole machine.
Later in the design process, I attempted to modify the hysteresis and eddy current coefficients. However, despite changing these parameters, the iron loss value remained unchanged. I would appreciate it if you could help clarify why this might be happening.
Additionally, I wanted to ask whether the Bertotti approach can also be applied to synchronous reluctance machines. I tried applying it in my SynRM design but did not obtain meaningful results.
Looking forward to your insights.
Thank you
