Can I Scale RMS Stress by Acceleration Level (SPCD)?

Description:

In random analysis with PSD input in G²/Hz,
if I set the acceleration scaling factor (SPCD) to 1 instead of 9.81,
can I simply multiply the RMS Stress result by 9.81 to correct it?

Or is this approach physically inaccurate due to the way RMS is calculated from PSD?

Hello,

If the RMS acceleration result from the Random Response analysis is in mm/s² and you want to convert it in g unit, then divide the RMS by 9810 mm/s^2.
