Hi, Altair Inspire 2022.3 version is no longer available? I really need that version.

Hello,

We provide and support the last three product years (2025, 2024 and 2023). Please update to one of those versions.

Thanks for the reply. I tried with the 2023 version and it gives me problems on the piece. I also tried with the 2022.2.1 (which I saw is no longer available, here too, if I launch the FEM analysis it starts but it stops at 2%. Instead with the 2022.3 version that I have on the PC in the university labs it works perfectly. So there is no way to redownload that one? :(

Hello,

I recommend using the newest version(2025.0) and try that. If you still see the issue, investigate the issue itself, not assume the software version is the issue. Let's get to the root cause of it.

I also tried the new version (2025), but the problem remains. I am sure the issue is related to the Altair version. I uploaded the file to Drive, downloaded it on my PC, and tested it with versions 2022.2, 2023, and 2025, and the problem occurs on all of them. I also tested on another PC with the same result.
I asked a groupmate to do the same test, and the issue is identical.
However, in the lab, downloading the same file from Drive, it opens without problems.
A course colleague happened to have version 2022.3, I tried with that version, and it works correctly.
After thorough troubleshooting, I am confident the issue depends on the Altair version.
Could you please send me a link or email to download that specific version (2022.3), or is that not possible?

Can you share the *.out files in the run folder? We can take a look at the root cause of the issue itself as Jason suggested.

Hello,

I run the FEM analysis, but it gets stuck at 2% and does not generate any .out files, neither in
C:\Users\[name]\Documents\Inspire_2022.2.1\RunHistory\ nor in the Temp directory.
However, if I right-click on the ongoing (frozen) analysis and select "Open Run Folder", I find a file named Progress.log, which contains only:

# Opening Model

If you can share version v2022.3.0 with me, I’ll be able to provide a definitive confirmation.
Otherwise, I will have to stop here.
