Unable to use tk_messageBox when executed in batch (noGUI) mode

When executing a script in batch (no GUI) mode in Altair HM/HV, using tk_messageBox does not do anything. The script executes the next step without any action.
This issue seems to be observed first in v2023. I am using v 2023.1 and have not faced this issue in the previous versions.
A solution to this would be much helpful.
