Description: DSIM License is not being obtained . after the simulation went into infinite loop

in DSIM. I wrote the code which went into infinite while loop by mistake. Once I killed VSCODE and refreshed the VSCODE. I am not able to run any simulation anymore and keep getting following error.

Your infinite while loop caused DSim to crash, and DSim did not take down the license session. If you wait ~5 minutes, the session will time out on the server, and a new session can be created.

For security reasons, the timeout for license sessions cannot be changed. The ping interval to the Altair licensing server is every 6 minutes, so you need to wait at least this long before creating a new license session.

waiting 10 min work. However, I would request a feature to be able to force session to time out such that we don't have to wait 10 min.

waiting 10 min worked most of the time
2 times in last 2 weeks I had to restart my computed waiting up to 1 hour didnt help.

Your simulation may be hanging because of the infinite loop in your design. Please debug the infinite loop and try again. You can always break out of DSim execution by pressing Ctrl+C. See this article for hints on debugging hung simulations:
