How to linearly MAP the temperature between inlet and outlet? Also how to add two Temp loads?
I want to perform the thermal analysis in hypermesh/optistruct in a heat exchanger. I have inlet temperatures as well outlet temperatures for hot side as well cold side.
I want to linearly map the temperature between inlet and outlets for hostile as well as coldside. I need stepwise guidance to perform this activity.
Secondly, I want to ask about how to add two load collectors with temperature loads in Hypermesh 2022.3 .I tried with Card image SPCADD and LOADADD but not working. Please help to add these. In the output I want flux and temperature distribution.
I added Steady state heat transfer load step 1 and Linear static load step2 but structed on temp load.
Also, what's difference between SPCTemp load and Direct TEMP load?

Hello,
-You can map temperature using the Fields tool in HyperMesh:

- You can follow the bellow tutorial about coupled linear heat transfer/structural analysis:

-For Heat Transfer Analysis, temperatures can be defined using SPC, SPC1, and SPCD data.
Loads and boundary conditions for Heat transfer analysis:

Temp(load) is used in structural analysis to reference a selected temperature set, which will be used to determine an equivalent static load.
