License Errors

Hi there.  I installed Inspire recently (student edition - from the email I received with the license) and followed the steps to setting the PATH in the environment variables.  When I start Inspire, I get the following errors in the log:

System Error during checking out: Altair Hosted HyperWorks Units: License error

 

Feature: Inspire

Error Code: 1

Error Description:

Invalid config file

I discovered that I applied with the wrong Ethernet ID (I used IP address instead of MAC address for my Wi-fi LAN).  I tried changing the values for the ETHERNET in the license file, but it still doesn't work.  Do I have to apply for a new license file?

    Exactly facing the same issue. Please guide how to proceed further.

    The Altair licenses are digitally signed, and making any changes to the license file will void the license and make it unusable.

    If you have provided the wrong MAC address for the generation of the license file, you will have to provide the correct MAC address and request for a new license file.
