How to bend the patch along the cylinder here in conformal structure? FEKO V. 2023.1

Description: Hello, I want to create a conformal microstrip patch antenna. How can I bend my patch along the cylinder surface? In CST, there is a bending option available. Here in FEKO 2023.1 V, without creating a line as an edge, how can I bend my rectangular patch along the cylindrical surface? Could anybody kindly fix the attached model so that the patch is bent?

Hi @sswh2 ,
The "Project" function in Feko can be used to project the patch onto the cylinder surface.
The following are the steps that can be followed for the model the you have:
- Remove the "patch" from "Union1" and move it slightly above the surface of the cylinder using the "Transform" option. Go to Transform> Project
2. Select "Union1" as the target and the patch as the geometry that is to be projected.
Once the "patch" is projected, it will take the properties of the surface that it is projected onto. In this case, it is the properties of the substrate (TMM_10i).
3. So, select the patch and change its properties back to PEC.
