Radioss solver pressure load application

I have a problem with the pressure load application with the Radioss solver, load constraints. I want to apply a constant pressure load of X MPa on a solid cylinder's top surface area in order to apply the load to a solid sphere, which is kept in between two cylindrical surfaces, i.e top part is the impactor and the bottom part is fixed. So , as there is provision for applying the pressure load, how is it applied, and what are the contact definitions used for which the solid sphere is getting deformed by the application of the constant pressure load. I am unable to apply the pressure load application. so please suggest how to overcome the problem.

Hi,
There is an example of PLOAD application in the documentation, in which are also some contacts defined in this example.

Hello , Marina Lima , I have already gone through the documentation, In my case the cylinder is a solid part or body . So in that case how apply a PLOAD in case of a solid surface . I am unable to apply the PLOAD on the top surface of the solid cylindrical part . So please suggest how to do

The cylindrical part is meshed with all hexahedral elements

Have you tried to create /SURF/SEG for the element set? When handling with solid elements, this could be the issue.

I have tried with defining the contact surface defined using solid face selection criteria and select the top face of the cylinder. And by reversing the direction of the contact surface for the application of pressure load . It it the correct way ?

For both interface and pressure sets, you can try defining a surfSeg.
If the pressure direction is not as desired, you can easily adjust the signal of the Time function fct_ID(T) accordingly.

Ok. Thankyou one more doubt,
Case 1 : if I want to apply a constant pressure load then what condition should I take?
Case 2: if I want to apply a dynamic pressure load then at that time what condition should I take ?
Can you suggest?
Is it done by a curve editor, if so then how suggest me ?

This is my condition. How to apply the constant pressure loads.
