How to apply pressure over *part* of a surface
I'm trying to do something very simple, and can't figure out how to do it (OptiStruct 2021.1).
Suppose I have a mesh of solid elements, and want to apply a uniform surface pressure load ("apply pressure") over just part of a surface. For example, just the green part of the model circled below.
I've split the model into two components, I've split the solids and the surfaces, I've organized the surfaces, there is a surface that covers the region I want, but the only option seems to be to select by "faces" and no matter what I do it wants to pick the entirety of the top surface (blue + green). It just can't be this hard. Please tell me what am I doing wrong.

Never mind, I found the "surfs" selection in the second down arrow selection set.
