Trying to Import Pressure Load from a .csv File and Radioss

Hello

I'm trying to import a pressure field that I obtained from a CFD solver. This pressur field is registered in a 4 columns .csv (x,y,z,P).  In Hypermesh, I go in Analysis and then pressures. here I select my faces and the option "Linear Interpolation" . Therefore I choose my .csv and at first sight it seems to work. However, once in Radioss, my Pressure Load doesn't appear in the *_0000.rad file.

Do you know how could i solve this issue? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Romain,

Thank you for contacting the Altair Community. My name is Nolan McPartlin and I will be helping you with this question.

In Radioss, /PLOAD can only vary with time. To map a static pressure field from the CFD solver to Radioss, individual /PLOAD cards must be generated for each element. This can be done with a HyperMesh tcl script or Python script.

    Does this help?

    Thank you,

    Hi,

Thanks for your answer. However, i'm quite new using Radioss so this is not very clear. I'll try to be more precise. From my CFD solver, I got dynamic pressure from each node. I store this in a file for each time step. I can enclose the file if needed. Therefore, I want to asign the dynamic pressure applied on each surface in Radioss and if possible uploading each time step, to observe the effect of sloshing on my surface. Is this possible?

    Thanks in advance,

    Romain Megret
